Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
Last week, we celebrated the First Class Staff we have at Hohenfels Elementary School!
Every member of the staff plays a critical role in the success of our school and students. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication each one brings to school every day! Thank you to our teachers, administrators, aides, paras, counselors, specialists, Â custodial staff, lunchroom staff, and substitutes who make HES the wonderful school it is!Â

Bingo Night Success!
Â
We had such a fun and successful Bingo Night at Hohenfels Elementary! A huge thank you to Mr. Lathrop and Mr. Renninger for stepping up as our enthusiastic bingo callers — you truly brought the energy and made the night extra special!
Â
We also want to recognize and appreciate all the amazing staff members and volunteers who helped with setup, prizes, and everything in between. Events like these wouldn't be possible without your support and teamwork.
Â
Thank you to everyone who joined us — we loved seeing so many families come together for an evening of fun and community spirit!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Bike Safety Week is just around the corner! During this important week, students at Hohenfels Elementary School will learn essential rules for safely navigating traffic in Germany, especially while riding their bikes. In addition to classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to practice their skills on a specially designed bike safety course set up right here at school.
To help make this event a success, we are kindly asking for donations of gently used children's bicycles. If your child has outgrown their bike and it’s still in good condition, please consider donating it to the school for use during Bike Safety Week. Your support would be greatly appreciated!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Host Nation Teacher, Mr. Tobias Zangl, at:
Tobias.Zangl@DODEA.EDU
Thank you for your continued support!

All library books need to make their way back to the school library next week, 12-16 May.
If your child has lost a book, please contact sara.nantz@dodea.edu for guidance.
