TIGER CUB BULLETIN
On Friday, May 2nd, all students at Hohenfels Elementary School successfully participated in the annual Wandertag. Graced with beautiful, sunny weather, the classes made their way together to the Sportplatz in the town of Hohenfels, where they were warmly welcomed by members of the Hohenfels Hiking Department and students from the local German Elementary School.
Awaiting the hikers at their destination were delicious sausages and refreshing cold drinks—perfect for those needing a bite or a break. Thanks to the incredible support from parents, guardians, and siblings, the Sportplatz quickly turned into a lively hub of fun and relaxation. Families and friends enjoyed picnics under the sun, while others joined in a variety of games and activities.
After a well-earned rest, everyone began the walk back to the school, bringing a memorable and joyful day to a close.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Bike Safety Week is just around the corner! During this important week, students at Hohenfels Elementary School will learn essential rules for safely navigating traffic in Germany, especially while riding their bikes. In addition to classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to practice their skills on a specially designed bike safety course set up right here at school.
To help make this event a success, we are kindly asking for donations of gently used children's bicycles. If your child has outgrown their bike and it’s still in good condition, please consider donating it to the school for use during Bike Safety Week. Your support would be greatly appreciated!
